17th ICSMGE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Delegates – and exhibitors who wish to also attend conference sessions, participate in the social events, or join a tour – may register in one of the following ways:

  • Online Registration with payment by credit card:  If you wish to register and pay your registration fees by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), click here and you will be taken to the online conference registration process. 

    After creating an account and completing the registration form, you will be redirected to the website of Banque Misr to complete the payment process.  (Bank transaction fees in Egypt for credit card payments are 3.5%; this amount will be added onto your registration fees prior to payment.)

    Please do not close out of the registration process until after you are redirected (automatically) from the Banque Misr website back to the conference website to receive confirmation of your registration.

  • Fax Registration with payment by wire transfer. You may download the registration form, fill in your information, and return it by fax to +202 3760 7239, along with proof of your payment of the registration fees by bank wire transfer (exclusive of bank transaction fees) to:

The Conference Organizing Committee strongly encourages participants to register as early as possible using the online registration method.  Hotel rooms in Alexandria are limited.  Bookings will be handled on a first come, first served basis.  We cannot guarantee hotel choices or room type availability, and encourage you to book your accommodations no later than 30 June 2009.

Registration on or before 6 June 2009:

Students (excluding proceedings & Gala Dinner) 200 US Dollars**

Registration on or after 7 June 2009:

Full conference fee 700 US Dollars*
Non-members 800 US Dollars*
Students (excluding proceedings & Gala Dinner) 200 US Dollars**

The full conference fee includes:

  1. Full participation in the conference
  2. Conference proceedings (hard copy)
  3. Transport from/to airports (in Alexandria and Cairo) to hotels in Alexandria
  4. Daily transportation from/to hotels and the conference venue in the morning, mid-day, and at the end of the conference day
  5. Two refreshment breaks and a boxed lunch each day of the conference
  6. Attendance at the Welcome Reception on 5 October
  7. Attendance at the Cultural Evening on 8 October

  

* The Conference Organizing Committee regrets the need to increase the registration fees.   Inflation in Egypt has risen sharply since previously published fees, and coupled with the fluctuation of the value of the dollar, we have had no option.

** Students must submit a letter from their supervisor at the time of their conference registration that confirms their registration status as a research student.
